This Privacy Policy explains how Store Elements for Tebex ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when Wix site owners install and use our App to connect their Wix site with a Tebex store.

Store Elements for Tebex is an independent app. It is not Tebex, and purchases made through Tebex checkout remain handled by Tebex and/or the relevant store owner.

1. What our App does

Store Elements for Tebex lets Wix site owners connect their Tebex webstore and display Tebex packages, baskets, and store-related elements on their Wix website.

Wix manages app installation, billing, subscriptions, trials, and related account permissions. Tebex manages store data, checkout, payments, order processing, and related purchase flows.

2. Information we collect

When a Wix site owner installs or uses the App, we may collect and store information needed to operate the App, including:

• Wix app instance IDs, installation IDs, and site/account metadata.
• The site owner's email address, stored in encrypted form.
• Tebex connection details, including public tokens and private keys, stored in encrypted form.
• Tebex store metadata, such as store name, platform type, authentication mode, and last sync or validation time.
• App billing, trial, subscription, and licence state for each Wix app instance.
• Support requests, optional diagnostic information, and error/debug logs.
• Temporary basket, gift recipient, package variable, and display metadata used to show basket contents and store elements correctly.

For site visitors, the information processed depends on the store type and package requirements. This may include Minecraft usernames, Tebex authentication links, package variables, gift recipient details, game server selections, gift card recipient email addresses, or Discord account information where Discord login is required for package benefits.

We do not process site visitor payment card details. Checkout and payment processing are handled by Tebex and its payment providers.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Connect Wix sites to Tebex stores.
• Display packages, baskets, and store elements on Wix websites.
• Validate store connections and app licences.
• Support basket, login, checkout, gifting, and package configuration flows.
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Detect errors, protect the App, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• Manage trial, subscription, and licence access.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The App may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser storage for functional purposes, such as preserving basket contents, session state, login state, and checkout-related flows.

These are used to make the store functionality work properly. If functional cookies or storage are denied through Wix consent settings, certain features such as login, basket, or checkout flows may be blocked until consent is accepted.

If consent changes from allowed to denied, relevant basket or session storage may be cleared.

5. Third-party services

The App works with third-party services, including:

• Wix, for app installation, billing, subscriptions, trials, site owner identity, and permissions.
• Tebex, for store packages, baskets, checkout, authentication links, purchases, and related store services.
• Discord, where Discord login is required or enabled for certain package benefits.
• Resend, for sending support or dashboard-related emails.
• Cloudflare, for proxying, caching, security, and performance.
• Database hosting, for storing App data.

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the App. Sensitive connection details, such as Tebex private keys and site owner emails, are stored encrypted where appropriate.

We do not intentionally log secrets, and we aim to redact sensitive information from logs where possible. Tebex private keys are not shown back to users after they are saved.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we design the App to limit unnecessary access to sensitive data.

7. Data retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Error and client-side debug logs are intended to be retained for short-term troubleshooting, usually around 7 days.

If the App is uninstalled, we may retain certain installation, account, billing, licence, or anti-abuse records for up to 365 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or support purposes. After this, data may be deleted or anonymised.

8. Store owner responsibilities

Wix site owners are responsible for the content, pricing, package descriptions, legal notices, and compliance of their own store.

The App provides display and connectivity tools only. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, refund, fraud, or payment processing services.

Refunds, taxes, fraud checks, order fulfilment, and delivery of digital items are generally handled by Tebex and/or the store owner, unless clearly stated otherwise.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.

If you are a Wix site owner using the App, you can contact us to request help with your App-related data.

If you are a customer or visitor of a Wix site using the App, you should usually contact the relevant store owner first, as they control their own store, products, and customer relationship. For Tebex checkout or purchase-related data, Tebex may also need to be contacted directly.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date.
